THERE THERE is a photographic event in Cork City, curated by Stag & Deer and launching on Thursday, October 18th 2012, 6 pm with the opening of Viviane Sassen’s Parasomnia at the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork, Ireland.
THERE THERE will bring more than 30 international, national and local lens based artists under one banner.
There’ll be six different exhibitions with different concerns sharing a common thematic framework, responses to otherness. We have secured an internationally recognised female photographer to anchor the event, Viviane Sassen.

The ‘King Tides’ occur when the Earth, moon and sun are aligned at perigee and perihelion.
Shown above is a small selection from David’s ongoing series, which comprises a combination of photographs, installation items and film-works.
A selection of stills/photographs of ‘King Tide / Brenin Llanw‘ will be showing in the Cynon Valley Museum & Gallery in Aberdare – right in the heart of the South Wales valleys.
Opening on September 17, 2012 at 2 pm. Continue Reading →
