Posted on April 8, 2013 by Julia Schiller

Pavlov’s Dog, Berlin

Berlin: No other city stirs so many longings and desires. And yet – everyone loves something different about this town, in which one is currently beginning to re-build an ancient palace. Berlin 2013 is a city full of contradictions: Booming start-ups and airport disasters, property boom and nostalgia for the Berlin Wall, Berghain and Waldorf Astoria. Artists have always had a particular visual sense for cracks and rifts, both of which are so apparent in Berlin. That is why pavlov’s dog is now looking onto Berlin – in 50 photographs by 50 photographers:

Luke Abiol / Özgür Albayrak / DS Allen / Diana Artus / Elmar Bambach / Holger Biermann / Yves Borgwarth / Mathias Bothor / Jörg Brüggemann / Dejan / Patrick Desbrosses / Frank Darius / Martin Eberle / Florian Fleischauer / Thorsten Futh / Johann Sebastian Hänel / Olaf Heine / Frederike Hellwig / Gabriel Jones / Monika Keiler / Hartwig Klappert / Norman Konrad / Carolin Leschzynski / Li-Han Lin / Michael Mann / Bernhard Moosbauer / Oliver Möst / Fay Nolan / Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs / Katharina Poblotzki / Kai von Rabenau / Maria do Mar Rego / Peter Rigaud / Julian Rosefeldt / Gilles Roudière / Andy Rumball / Julia Schauenburg / Ralf Schmerberg / Valentina Seidel / Michael Sieber / Gerrit Sievert / Pamela Spitz / Frank Thiel / Heinrich Völkel / Donata Wenders / Marei Wenzel / Christian Werner / Paula Winkler / Harf Zimmermann / Urban Zintel
