Der Greif | Call For Entries: Exhibition »A Process«

Posted on Februar 24, 2014 by Julia Schiller

Der Greif – an interesting magazine for photography & literature – is calling for entries for their first exhibition. Submissions are free and open to everyone. There is no specific topic. Deadline for entries is March 10th, 2014, 11:59 pm Central European Time.

For all further details please visit their → Submission page.

Exhibition »A Process«

With »A Process«, we are striking new paths, transferring the magazine‘s virtual and haptic development into real space. Over a two-month time frame, we will make the different steps of their artistic work – curation, de- and re-contextualization of submitted works – open to the public. »A Process« uses the internet’s participatory structure to connect participants, visitors and editors across national boundaries.

About Der Greif

Der Greif is a project for contemporary photography and literature with a focus on photography. It addresses itself to people with an affinity for image and text.

Der Greif is a print-magazine, online-platform, curatorial team and joint project for and with photographers and authors from all over the world.

The artistic core and root of the project is the printed and ad-free magazine. It shows the works of photographers and authors of different origins in a holistic piece of art.

The website is an exhibition-, communication-, and information-platform for participants and anyone interested. It contains information about the magazine, published artists and supporters, an online-shop, as well as a blog. Participating artists are presented in artist-features and have the opportunity to post on the blog.
